Robert W. Frantum-Allen, ma

Robert Frantum-Allen, MA has been in the field of education for more than 33 years working as a sign language interpreter, paraprofessional, teacher and administrator. He has served as a special education director or designee for more than 9 years in Colorado. His areas of expertise are Deaf education, Structured Literacy and special education administration. Robert is unique in his field as he believes that compliance and instruction are not two opposing disciplines. In addition, Robert served as an instructional and professional development manager for 6 years, studying andragogy or the art of teaching adults. Robert also served as a district Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling (LETRS). When not working to improve special education, you can find Robert at the Denver Zoo working as a Docent and Keeper Assistant working with the elephant team.
