I was told a few times this past month, “you are too young to retire”. Well I may have retired from public school after 32 years as a paraprofessional, sign language interpreter, teacher and administrator, but I am not done working. I just get to choose the projects I am working on now.
This is the launch of my next chapter as a consultant. After 32 years, you learn a few things along the way and I am ready to share my learnings with my colleagues.
My vision for this new venture is to develop leaders and innovative equity based systems in Special Education. To meet this vision my mission is to provide quality services to help my clients lead special education programming focusing on innovative equity solutions to increase achievement of students with a disability.
